4-H Youth Development Program
Not Just Cows and Cooking
4-H is an exciting educational program for all youth ages 5 to 19. It is designed to provide knowledge, expertise and skills that will help youth develop into responsible, self-directed, and productive people. The 4-H club program in Ventura County is strong, with nearly 30 community clubs operated by more than 400 trained adult volunteers. Through the use of hands-on learning activities and with the guidance of the adult volunteer leaders, 4-H members involve themselves in a variety of activities.
