Facility Application Procedure Information
Meeting & Event Facilities

If you are planning to have meetings at a facility that requires completion of a facility use agreement, please call Georgetta before you complete any paperwork required by the facility.

4-H Leaders may NOT sign facility agreements. These agreements must be signed by the County Director.

  1. Contact the facility to confirm the dates are available and ask that the needed dates be "penciled in" on the facility's calendar (if possible).
  2. Ask for an application for use of the facility - read it, BUT DO NOT FILL IT OUT until you contact Georgetta at the 4 H Office.
  3. Find out if any application fees or usage fees are required for use of the facility.
  4. Call Georgetta at 645-1470. Let her know what kind of meeting or event will be held at the facility (Cavy project, Club general meeting, Food Faire event, etc.), the name and phone number of the facility, the date(s) and time(s) of the meeting(s), and any special requirements.
    Keep in mind that facility paperwork takes TIME to process. Depending on the facility, it may take several weeks or more to complete the paperwork necessary to make the facility available to you.
  5. 4-H Office - When the 4-H Office gets the information from you, we will process the necessary paperwork and provide you with a copy of the approved agreement when received.
  6. For Parades, City organized community events, Fundraising Booths, etc. - Please call the 4 H Office for more information before signing or submitting any paperwork to the organization putting on the event.
