VictoryGrower supports the notion that gardening is an excellent way to increase food security (the amount and quality of food) in America. Gardening enables youth, families and entire communities to improve their access to Good Food. Good Food is:
- Healthy - because it's fresh and minimally processed.
- Green - because it's produced and distributed in a way that supports a healthy and sustainable environment. Think "local" here.
- Fair - because it generates an equitable wage for those producing and selling it.
- Affordable - for Everyone. Access to Good Food should be a right, not a privilege.
